I had lab work done & today doc says i have herpes but i have mo outbreaks (never)i also had test 2 mths ago by gyn & it was normal why? do retest?

More detail needed: The HSV blood tests can give false results. With negative test 2 months earlier, and if no symptoms of new herpes in the meantime (usually obvious blisters or sores, either mouth or genital area), there is a good chance the new test result is false. Re-post another question with the details, including the exact test done (brand name) and the numerical results for both HSV1 and HSV2.
