Not definitively: A weakened immune system increases the risk of an outbreak, but does not guarantee one. There is a blood test that can check for herpes simplex virus - 2 (hsv-2), that would let you know if you have the virus that causes genital herpes. You may have the disease, but are just fortunate not to have any outbreaks.
