Small: but possible. Best to use barrier method (condom) at minimum. If concerned about pregnancy do home preg test no sooner than 2 weeks after first unprotected sex. If neg repeat in 7-10 days. If both neg unlikely you are pregnant. Hope this was helpful. Dr. R

Small : Your chance of getting pregnant is highest at about the midpoint of the cycle, or about 7-10 days after the end of your period. This is assuming a regular, 28-30 day cycle. Certainly other factors are involved; for example, sperm can live in the vaginal vault for up to several days.
