BV: Bacterial vaginosis doesn't often cause bleeding but anything that makes the cervix raw can cause bleeding after sex.That includes infections,abnormal cervical cells,and chemical irritants.Irregular periods can also be due to systemic things like meds including contraceptives,stress,exercise,diet,changes in schedule,thyroid disease,diabetes/insulin resistance, and pituitary or adrenal problems.
