May be pregnant: May be pregnant. However that would not explain sharp pelvic pain. Implantation may cause mild very brief pain. I suggest doing a urine pregnancy test, and if negative repeat the test in one week. If the pelvic pain continues see your physician. If the pain is severe go ER.
