Probably not serious: Occasional bleeding with sex can be normal, but if it happens more than once, I would be checked for infection. The vaginal swelling is probably unrelated. It could be a reaction to condoms or lubricant or even your partner's soap. You may want to try non-latex condoms if you are using latex.
