I was use marvelon contraception pills and it cause depression to me what kind of contraception dose not affect the mood ?

Desogestrel: You have a generic version of desogen (ethinyl estradiol and desogestrel) and the progesterone in that particular pill frequently causes depression. You need a pill that doesn't contain desogestrel. Ask the prescribing provider to change your pill.
