Recurrent infection: If smaller than the size of a quarter most boils will resolve on their own. You can use a warm compress to help release any pus from the area. You may have recurrent infections due to a Staph bacteria. An easy way to help decolonize the skin is to soak in a bath for 20 min. with about 1/3 cup bleach added. Another option is to use a soap called Hibiclens (OTC) once a day for 5 days.

But, clinically, you might have experienced the recurrent skin infection from sebaceous glands of hair follicles.
