It's possible but: more likely is that your stool needs a higher water content in order to pass more readily .Adding daily fiber to your diet may do the trick.A colonoscopy is required to rule out a partial colon blockage.

No: If you are able to deficate and have no abnormal medical history then it is highly unlikely that you could have a blockage. Since you can have a bowel movement but feel like it gets stuck in the rectum this is more likely due to constipation issues and diet. Try to increase the amount of water your drink and vegetables you eat each day.
