How long should i wait after a herpes outbreak to have sex with my boyfriend? i took 1000mg valtrex (valacyclovir) twice/day during outbreak and 500mg thereafter.

If no active lesion: It's okay to have sex.If your boyfriend doesn't have herpes ,you may consider taking Valtrex (valacyclovir) daily.It would make active outbreaks less likely
