I've been on my period for 33 days and i've got my first depo shot i go back 4/1 for my 2nd shot but i don't think i should if i'm going to bleed more?

Depo side effects: Dysfunctional uterine bleeding (DUB) is a common side effect of Depo during the first few months of use. I stress to my patients who choose Depo that irregular bleeding often occurs as your body adjusts to it. Most patients will have no bleeding after the 2nd or 3rd shot. I offer patients a progestin-only pill (0.35mcg norethindrone) to control bleeding during the adjustment phase. It works great.
