Stopped bc pill few months back & periods never returned so gyno told me to get back on it. but on the pill, i have periods. why no period off pill??

Various causes: Irreg cycles are quite common in women. The most common cause is a hormone issue called polycyclic ovarian syndrome. Also, at time, thyroid issues can cause them. Pills are a good idea. I agree with that. BUT, you need a hormone blood test panel just to ensure all is ok. In some cases, a vaginal sonogram gives additional info as to the uterine and ovarian condition.
