Hello, i had a barium enema exam through my rectum yesterday at 10:00 am. after the exam i noticed that i didn't have an urge to urinate for hours.

Dehydrated?: When you take a barium enema you must clean yourself out first. This then coupled with taking nothing by mouth all night prior can make you low on fluids. You would not have a desire to void for some time.
