Acutane: Birth control must be used with Acutane as it is a drug that is toxic to the fetus and can cause birth defects. It must be used while you are on Acutane. Once your acne is controlled and once you come off the Acutane for a month you can stop your birth control pills if you want to become pregnant. All the best.
