A member asked:

Can i use alesse if i get aura migraines? i do not want an iud and i've heard min pills have a high failure rate.

Migraines: sometimes an estrogen based birth control pill can greatly improve migraines as you are not having the wide swings in hormones, but they can also go the other way and cause headaches. A trial of a birth control pill is ok but check also with your neurologist.
