Can taking aleeve affect your period or cause spotting after ovulation. haven't had sex in a month and had a period last month ?

Unlikely: Although Aleve (naproxen) has the potential to prevent your platelets from sticking and can increase your bleeding potential, it is unlikely that small, intermittent doses will have that effect to the extent that it causes AUB. More likely to be hormonal in origin.... unless there is a history of bleeding disorder, of course.
