Hard to say: If you can discern a regular cycle out of that pattern, you probably do ovulate around cd 14 from the beginning of the real bleeding. Spotting especially right before the cycle is indicative of a polyp or fibroid in or near the cavity. Spotting after and with intercourse can be adenomyosis or a cervical problem. All of this should be evaluated by your doctor. Good luck.
