No: Chlamydia and herpes are two totally different infections. Stds do tend to occur together though because the high risk behavior that causes exposures associates with all stds.

No: Herpes is caused by a virus and chlamydia by a bacteria so the one does not turn into the other. That said, be aware that people can carry both infecting agents, so people can be exposed to both simultaneously, so safe sex practices are encouraged.

No!: Herpes is viral and not curable. Chlamydia is a bacteria and is curable! untreated herpes would only prolong the attack. In women, untreated chlamydia will lead to pelvic inflammatory disease/tuboovarian abcess and potentially infertility . However, they are both sexually transmitted!

No. : No, herpes and chlamydia are caused by different viruses, although both are extremely common. It is not unusual for a patient to have been exposed to both. They are both treated differently as well. Chlamydia can be treated and it will not return unless you are exposed again. Herpes on the other hand, once you have it, you will always have it.
