No: Chlamydia infections are not fatal if left untreated. They lead to bothersome urinary symptoms and chronic pain, especially in women, but are not fatal.

Not fatal - but can : Cause serious problems. Chlamydia complications in women can include pelvic inflammatory disease, infertility, ectopic pregnancy. Chronic pelvic pain. Men may develop epididymitis ; rarely infertility. Reiter's syndrome can occur (arthritis ; inflammation of eye ; urethra w skin lesions).
