Usually painful: Might be, but could also be chancre or other std, or a non-std just in an undesirable spot. Need to see your gyn / "std clinic" dr for exam, diagnosis and treatment.

Sounds like yeast: Get Monistat or gynelotrimin (clotrimazole) over the counter and treat at least 3 days. Should get better.
