I have a colonoscopy coming up but i have a few questions. i have a clear oily foul smelling leakage from my rectum an oily stools is it steatorhea?

Does it float?: Does this oily leakage float on top of the toilet water? If so, it is steatorrhea. There are specific tests that you can do to check for steatorrhea. If present, this can be a sign of a deficiency in the enzymes that your pancreas gland produces.
