IVF Protocols: There are a number of protocols used for poor responders. Most have to do with trying to suppress the ovaries a little as possible. Instead of bcp, others have used lower doses of estrogen at the end of the previous cycle or a natural cycle start to increase the number of follicles recruited. Using microdose Lupron (leuprolide) instead of the antagonist. Others have noted improvement with some adjuvants.
