Many times, yes!: A laparoscopy can diagnose and resolve many problems prior to IVF such as Endometriosis ovarian issues or fibroids.

Possibly: You can see if there is a problem that can be corrected. The fertility specialist however may have less invasive ways to check for any irregularities. Discuss with doc. as you do not want to subject yourself to an invasive test that may not be needed.
