What is causing menstral cramping while on yaz (drospirenone and ethinyl estradiol)?

Menstrual cramps: The cause of menstrual cramps on bcp's is the same cause off bcp's. It is the prostaglandin release from the uterine wall that casue the cramping. It can be relieved by Motrin or other antiprostaglandin medication.
