No ovulation: When you are taking birth control pills you do not ovulate. There is no ovulation day. Anytime you miss pills you decrease their ability to prevent ovulation. Usually missing one pill does not affect the fertility too much but it is not a good idea. If remembering to take pills is hard for you consider using an IUD /Implant or a nondaily method.
