Unusual, unless: 1- chemotherapy or other drugs have reduced the platelet count , leading to bleeding 2-the original cancer started in the colorectum and metastasized to lung 3-unrelated circumstances: bloody stool from hemorrhoids and/or new cancer. Do not be discouraged...Have faith...Br strong.

See your doctor.: Usually for stage IV lung ca, you will get chemotherapy. This can lower resistance to infection, including in the colon which could result in rectal bleeding. Rarely, lung cancer can spread to the bowel causing bleeding. See you m doctor/medical oncologist right away!
