Try shots or IUD: Birth control pills are a combination of estrogen and progesterone. Depo Provera (medroxyprogesterone) shots or iuds have only Progesterone in them. You may given them a try. If you cannot tolerate any form of hormone, then you may have to use a copper iud, stick with condoms, use a diaphragm, or use other non-hormone-style birth control. As for period regulation, you may be out of luck.

There are many types: Of pills with differing side effects based on dose. If overweight, wt loss may help regulation. Most will adjust fine to birth control. They do not cause wt gain, no evidence for mood problems, though not impossible; nausea and headache can be reduced by lowering the estrogen. What can be worse than irregular cycles, anemia or unintended pregnancy? Try nuva ring, it misses the GI system.Gdluc.
