Should check it out: If he has scrotal pain and a new mass he should have it checked out by a urologist to determine of its something cystic and benign or possibly something more serious. Sometimes worrisome masses are not very solid and are mobile, so he really should just have it looked at. The scrotum: Is external, the contents, testes, epidiymus, spermatic cord or inside. Your doctor might be sufficient to determine if he needs to see the urologsit, a specialist. Pain needs to be discerned as inside or outside the scrotum.
