Sexual Dysfunction : The mainstay of medical treatment for premature ejaculation has been ssri type antidepressants. Paxil (paroxetine) 10-20mg is most often used. It can be taken about an hour before sex or or on a daily basis. It stays in your system for a few days and can have other side effects as a result. In the usa watch for a new drug (dapoxetine) by johnson&johnson this year. It will be just for premature ejaculation.

It will go away: Premature ejaculation is common and is more related to anxiety than erection or penile problems. Most of the time an understanding partner is all it takes. On the other hand have realistic expectations; usual time from penetration to ejaculation is 2 minutes. Get comfortable with your mate, have a talk, remember the more comfortable you are with her the longer you last. Decrease masturbation too.
