A member asked:

Can not drinking enough water cause light vaginal bleeding due to not going to the bathroom enough? does vagina become dry or chapped? i am 62.

A doctor has provided 1 answer

No: Dehydration from not drinking enough water should not cause vaginal bleeding. The vagina becomes dry and thinned postmenopausally and in low estrogen conditions. This can also be painful and cause discomfort. Local estrogen therapy can relieve this. See your doctor.
