I have herpes. had a stent removed a week ago. now i have painful urination. what's going on?

Trauma: The painful urination is likely due to the stent removal. Its not a completely uncomplicated event. Was it urethral or ureteral? I would go back to the urologist.

Urine culture: Possible urinary infection need urineanalysis and culture if you donot want test take some antibiotic such as cipro, (ciprofloxacin) and if not better must do urine test.
