Can drinking a lot of water make urine sample clear for uti? having my primary herpes outbreak & starting to urinate is painful. is this from herpes?

Maybe: If your urine is very dilute (watered down), the typical office test with the dipstick may not detect the white blood cells associated with infection. But a culture will still be accurate. But herpes hurts, so it would not be unusual for urination and wiping to hurt until the sores go away.
