Should be OK: Hopefully the yeast infection has improved on ketoconazole, and switching to Miconazole should be fine. They are quite similar in their antifungal properties. If you do notice, however, that the rash starts to worsen on miconazole, i would get a new prescription of the ketoconazole.

Yes: Miconazole has a similar antifungal spectrum to keatoconazole. One can never guarantee that one will be better aganist a specific organism than another similar azole based cream, but it should help.
