Are you 16yo or 32yo: Age plays a role in erectile dysfunction. Young boys' ED is mostly due to performance anxiety while middle-age & older men have to deal w/psychological & physiological issues. Former consists of various stress issues while latter is from poor health eg diabetes, high cholesterol etc; poor lifestyle choices eg smoking, drinking to excess, no physical activity; and drug side effects.

Find the cause: If your favorite partner(s) / pictures / movies / ideas don't get you a strong erection at your age, there's an underlying medical problem. Your physician can do a good history, physical exam, medication review ; some labs. Two causes that are often missed in men your age are hemochromatosis and prolactinoma.

Varies dramatically: I start commonly seeing erectile dysfunction in men as young as in their 40s, although I have certainly seen cases in men in their 20s and 30s. Variables such as smoking, high blood pressure, use of blood pressure medication, prostate surgery and diabetes can all hasten the onset of erectile dysfunction. There is no set age where erectile dysfunction can first be considered common.

Age-related changes vary among men. Usually great in their 20's, fine in the 30's, mild changes in the 40's, some noticeable changes in the 50's, etc...

Varies: This varies dramatically with other signs of vascular illness. It is certainly possible to have erectile dysfunction in the 30s and 40s.
