Bacterial vaginitis: Nitrofurantoin is a common antibiotic used for uti's. But vaginal infections can also give symptoms of a uti. Fluconazole is used to treat yeast infections. But the odor and discharge suggests a bacterial infection. The continued itching could indicate a yeast infection that did not respond to fluconazole. You should see your doctor.
