Yes: Risk: doesn't work- wanted to be sterile, but the connection remains and sperm can get through. Risk: swelling surrounding tissues risk: bleeding of vessels-->collection of blood (hematoma)-->bruising/ discoloration risk: damage to the testicle-->loss of testicle --> =leading to risk: pain, men many over do activities after surgery which increases the risk.

See below : When done correctly by an experienced physician, the risks of vasectomy are small but include: surgical site infection and/or inflammation; epididymitis/orchitis; bleeding (bruising or hematoma); lump at the site of the proximal cut vas called sperm granuloma; failure to achieve sterility due to recanalization; chronic pain/discomfort with or without ejaculation; and indirectly, emotional issues.
