You : You are actually the most fertile at the midpoint of your cycle (time of ovulation). For example if the first day of your period is january 1st (based on a 28 day cycle) then you would ovulate approximately on the 14th, therefore your most fertile time is about the 12th-16th. Howeve, r pregnancy can occur at any time during the cycle, but very unlikely at the start of your period. Regardless you should consider a birth control option that suits you.
