You : You should start your new pills on the same day you would have normally started the new pack of ortho-tricyclen. From what you describe, it looks like that would be the thursday after you start your period. Also, be sure to use an alternative form of birth control such as a condom for the first week you are on the loestrin 24 just in case the switch causes ovulation. Better to be safe than sorry!
