If : If you consider the first day of your period "day 1" of your menstrual cycle, then "days 13-16" are the days when ovulation is most likely to occur. This can vary month to month and can vary among women. You may have been a little early... Or not! sperm can stay alive in the vagina/uterus/fallopian tubes for 3 days. There are other subtle symptoms that can help you know when you are ovulating such as: - mild abdominal cramps - clear, slippery vaginal discharge - not unlike egg whites (as opposed to thicker, cloudy, sticky secretions when you are not ovulating) - slight increase in body temperature you can also purchase a fertility kit at the store that measures hormones in your urine and can help you predict ovulation. Good luck!

No: Abortions should not create a problem. Ovulation occurs on day 14 after the first day of the cycle. Sperm can live up to seven days in your reproductive tract. Ovulation predictor kits are really the way to go.
