Is choriocarcinoma testicular cancer hereditary? i know it could be from defective genes but i didn't think these genes were inherited! help please!

No: Testicular cancers, particularly mixed malignant germ cell tumors, of which choriocarcinoma falls into, are not generally inherited but occur sporadically.

Somatic mutations: This would be a great time for you to brush up on basic tumor biology. All tumors (benign and malignant / cancer) result from mutations that take place after we're already multicellular organisms. At most, one of these is inherited ("cancer family" genes).
