Yes.: Hormonal birth control can be effective acne treatment and many young, sexually active women use them contraception and acne control. Other treatments include benzoyl peroxide coupled with topical (erythromycin/clindamycin) or oral antibiotics (example: doxycycline), topical and oral retinoids, and laser treatments. Talk with your doctor about which approach is right for you.
