A member asked:

Is the depo-provera shot, patch, or arm implant birth control more effective?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Implant: With perfect use, both are just as effective as each other. But Depo-Provera requires you to come into clinic every 3 months, which for some people can be hard to do. So when you factor in the people who may be slightly late when getting their shots, Depo-Provera is not as effective as the implant.
