I know the " pull out method" isn't a birth control, but how effective can it be if you aren't using a condom are on the depo-provera shot?

Not very: Unprotected sex will eventually lead to pregnancy or std's. That's just how it works. It's wshat we were made to do. If this is something you are sure you don't want (yet), i would recommend hormonal birth control daily with condoms on top! many std's are forever, as is parenting.

Not very...: It is a contraceptive technique that must be done correctly. And it's difficult to perform correctly. Planned Parenthood reports that if it ALWAYS is done correctly 4 out of 100 women will get pregnant each year. If it is not done correctly 27 out of 100 women will get pregnant in a year. It also doesn't protect you from STDs. In my mind...not a great option.
