Can i take amrix while on birth control? (loestrin 1.5/30 fe), or will it decrease the effectiveness of the pill?

Yes: Amrix (extended- release cyclobenzaprine capsue) is a muscle relaxant and does not affect the effectiveness of the loestrin fe 1.5/30 birth control pill. Some common side effect of Amrix include drowsiness, fatigue, headache and dizziness. Be careful when driving or performing tasks that require a lot of attention and reduce/avoid alcohol while on amrix.
