Pill effectiveness: The pill is nearly 100% protective if taken regularly, but it depends on when in your cycle you began. If you started on day five of your last period, the chances are good that the pill will work to prevent pregnancy, but if you started from 6-10 days after your last period, the pill may not be effective. If you are "late" after finishing the cycle, get a serum pregnancy test (not urine) .

Possible: If you stared the pill at the time you started your new menstrual cycle, you are protected. If you started the pill more than a few days after the start of the new cycle then you may not be protected - with the limited exposure you describe, your risk should be fairly minimal.
