My wife got a mirena (levonorgestrel) put in monday. and the doctor said don't have sex for 7 days. but we had sex wednesday. is she at high risk for getting pregnant?

Not really: No intercourse for 7 days is a safe suggestion but very conservative. For most people the Mirena (levonorgestrel) iud works almost immediately.
