Sometimes...: Yes, infections like gonnorhea and chlamydia can cause inflammation called PID that cam lead to scarring on the fallopian tubes making pregnancy very difficult. It can also lead to pregnancy inside the tube, which is an emergency and potentially deadly. Hpv can lead to cancer and pre-cancer lesions that need surgery and that can cause trouble such as incompetent cervix or even hysterectomy.
