What is the most effective type of birth control?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

You won't like this: Abstinence...Of course. Beyond that, Mirena (levonorgestrel) or Implanon are extremely effective, have little or no drug-drug interactions, and you can't forget them. Surgical sterilization is also very effective, but obviously requires surgery and it's risks. Talk to your obgyn for more details.
