A member asked:

How many types of birth control are reversible?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Not sterilization: All forms of contraception (birth control) are considered reversible except sterilization. (pill, depo, iud, patch, ring) sterilization is performed with the intent that it is permanent and you never wish to conceive again. There is surgery to reverse the procedure but effectiveness may be limited and usually expensive, since most insurances do not cover it. Discuss options with your doctor.
