A member asked:

Why is there blood in my vagina after sexual intercourse?

Depends: Bleeding after intercourse can be the result of healthy vigorous sex or because an infection makes tissue more friable (likely to bleed). If this is a new phenomenon, or you're with a new partner, don't be shy about scheduling a visit with your gynecologist to investigate.

Bruising activity: Sexual intercourse can cause bruising depending on size of the partners, how lubricated is the vagina, the lenght of the vigorous activity............. If this persists a gynecologic check is warranted.
